Tips for this page

✓Start here first: while you are new, this page sends you to the Start here walk-through until you finish it or press "Close this and go to my dashboard". The green Getting started bar at the top of every page shows how many steps are done, and Back to Start here takes you back.
✓The line under your name tells you whether your site is finished. If it isn't, follow carry on setting up. Once it is, it names the design your live site uses. Your plan shows what you pay (the student rate while you're in training) and opens Your plan.
✓Your shortcuts: tiles for the pages you open most, until you choose your own. Some tiles show a live line, such as bookings in the next 7 days, enquiries not read yet, codes running or people who agreed to your emails.
✓Customise: press it to arrange your shortcuts. Drag any page from the menu on the left onto your shortcuts, drag a tile to move it, and press × to take one off. On a phone, use Add a shortcut and choose a page. You can have up to 9. Changes save as you go; press Done when you've finished.
✓The free trial strip: during your free trial an orange strip at the top of each page counts down the days. Press Join now to add your card; nothing is taken until the trial ends. Once your card is on, the strip turns green and shows the date of your first payment.
✓What to do next: before your site is finished this offers Set up. After that it offers New script if you use the scriptbuilder, or New page to add a page to your site. Bookings, confirmations and reminders run by themselves, and enquiries land in Enquiries.
✓Is your town right? If the address of your venue names a different town from the one on your site, a yellow box asks you. Change me to moves your website and directory advert to that town; No, ... is right keeps things as they are and the question goes away.
✓Reminders at the top of every page: until you sign our code of conduct, a reminder shows, because your site tells visitors whether you have signed. If we don't have your full name, a box asks for it.
✓The menu: on a computer it runs down the left in groups (Diary, Website, Shop, Marketing, Money, Analytics, Account). Click a group to open it; one opens at a time. At the bottom are a link to your public site and Web address. On a phone the menu sits along the bottom of the screen: Home, Diary, Website, Shop and More.
✓Feedback: the button at the bottom right of every page sends a few words straight to Peter, with the page you're on. Use it for a problem, an idea, something confusing or something you liked.
✓Directory-only accounts don't see this page: logging in takes you straight to your directory listing.
